Dr Jonathan Holbrook
Dr Jonathan Holbrook joined the practice as a partner in 1997, taking over Dr Hayward’s list.
He is married, has three children and lives in Surbiton. He grew up in Newcastle–Upon-Tyne and was educated at the Royal Grammar School, Newcastle.
He graduated from Manchester University in 1984. His subsequent hospital posts included obstetrics and gynaecology, geriatric medicine, general medicine, accident and emergency medicine, orthopaedics and general surgery. Some of these posts were undertaken locally at Epsom Hospital. He took a career break at one point, returning to medicine in 1991.
He spent his year in GP training at a practice in Leatherhead before becoming a GP in 1994. Following a number of locum posts in the area, Dr Holbrook joined the practice as a full-time GP Principal.
His areas of medical interest include elderly medicine, dermatology and minor surgery. He runs a weekly clinic for minor operations at the practice.
Recently Dr Holbrook has reduced his working time in the practice to two days per week. This is to pursue an interest in Accident & Emergency Medicine which he practices two days a week at St Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey. He now job-shares with Dr Louise Atkins.
