Dr Louise Atkins

DDr Atkinsr Louise Christina Atkins joined the Practice as a part-time salaried General Practitioner in March 2010.  She has three children and lives locally in Epsom.

Dr Atkins was educated at St. Ursula’s Convent School in Greenwich. She did her medical training at St. George’s Medical School, London, graduating in 1991.  Her first medical post was at St Peter’s Hospital, Chertsey, then King Edward VII in Midhurst.

She then completed a three year General Practice Training Scheme at St Peter’s Hospital, Chertsey.  The work involved posts in Accident and Emergency, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics and Psychiatry.  Following the scheme she became a General Practitioner Partner at Gilbert House in Ashtead.  She left this partnership to concentrate on her young family in 1999 and returned to General Practice in 2002.

For the past 8 years Dr Atkins has worked as a salaried and self-employed General Practitioner at Heathcote Medical Centre in Tadworth

Dr Atkins’ availability for surgery consultations

Tuesday morning and Tuesday afternoon Friday morning and Friday afternoon. The practice is still operating personal lists even though all doctors job-share. If you have a particular problem for which you would rather see a different doctor, this can be arranged, usually as a one-off consultation.
