Dr Sumathy Suntharalingam
Dr Sumathy Suntharalingam joined the Practice as a part-time self-employed General Practitioner in December 2004, covering Dr Muthu’s maternity leave and became a partner in March 2010.
Dr Suntharalingam is from Redhill and was educated in Oakwood School, Horley and Reigate College. She did her medical training at the Charing Cross and Westminster Campus of Imperial College, London, graduating in 2000. Her first post was in Haywards Heath, then going on to work in Margate. She underwent her 3 year GP vocational training scheme at Crawley and East Surrey Hospital. This involved working in Accident and Emergency, psychiatry, obstetrics & gynaecology and paediatrics. She spent the final year undergoing GP training in a General Practice in Crawley, completing this in November 2004.
She works 3 days and job-shares with Dr Muthu.

Dr Suntharalingam’s availability for surgery consultations:
- Tuesday morning and Tuesday afternoon
- Wednesday morning and Wednesday afternoon
- Friday morning and Friday afternoon
The practice is still operating personal lists even though all doctors job share. If you have a particular problem for which you would rather see a different doctor, this can be arranged, usually as a one-off consultation.
